This book is a supporting listening textbook to Speed-up Chinese: An Integrated Textbook and also can be used separately. It is designed for primary-level short-term students who have no or just a little knowledge about Chinese language. The book is composed of four volumes and 40 lessons, with 10 lessons for each volume. Each volume has tape scripts and ""HSK Listening Comprehension Model Test"" in the end. The first five lessons of Volume 1 focus on pronunciation while each of the remaining 35 lessons is composed of four parts, namely pre-listening exercise, listening practice, post-listening exercise and extensive listening exercise.
